emmett cooper:
emmett cooper / creator, loves cutting hair today as much as he did 34 years ago when, as a teenager, he started cutting his own hair as well as that of his friends and their mothers. for cooper, hairdressing is like sculpting. "It's all about form and balance," he says. to help him work more effectively and achieve better results, cooper spent three years working in his Indianapolis, Indiana-based salon, "Emmetts THE STUDIO", to create his eponymous luxury haircare product brand: 'EMMETTS HAIRCARE’. take it from him, it wasn't easy. For one thing, cooper wanted to work with the best and purest ingredients available, including essential oils, plant extracts, vitamins, and minerals. In some instances, that meant sourcing ingredients as far away as from japan. the results were worth the effort. "they're as organic and natural ingredients as I can make them, and they do what they say they'll do," says cooper, who wanted hair to look healthy, not weighed down with product residue.the shampoos conditioners and styling aids in the line are the result of cooper's lifelong love of hair and his desire to learn how to work with it. key products in his line include: "refresh"&moisture shampoo, the award winning deep conditioner "repair " and the cult favorites: "salt and lift". All of the product packaging is recyclable ,cruelty free of animal testing (peta approved) and are sulfate and paraben free.clients in the midwest are no different than elsewhere," says cooper. "they want full service and the opportunity to buy the products from their hairdresser used on them in the salon." consequently, his shampoos and finishing products make it easier for a client to recreate styles and maintain hair healthy at home.
